Great product!,
This is a very nice food processor. I bought it based on reviews of the more expensive models, and found it to be very good product. It has a very strong yet quiet motor that seems to handle jobs with ease. The 7 cup size is good for most typical food processing I do for my family of three. I can easily shred a full pound of cheese in the 7 cup bowl.
I was impressed with this product especially after seeing a new Black and Decker food processor that sounded like it was grinding rocks even with an empty bowl. This kitchen aid model appears to be very well built. It is definitely worth the $80.
The food processor comes with the base, 7 cup bowl, chopping blade, shredding/slicing blade, a “pole” for the shredding blade, and a spatula to help clean out the bowl.
Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

|Another Love / Hate relationship with this.,
Sorry to borrow the other reviewer’s subject, but this is true feeling about it. I brought this processor one week ago. It runs very quiet. The 7-cup fits my small family very well, and it won’t take up a lot of space. I actual keep it on my countertop all the time. The disc and the blade are sharp and work very well. The downside is this 7-cup model only comes with one 2-mm slicing disc/4-mm shredder disc that makes my food too thin. I decided to look for a 4-mm and a 6-mm slicing disc for my food processor. I even check the Kitchen Aid website, the bad news is they don’t have any accessories for the 7-cup model besides those come with the food processor box. Then I thought maybe I could return my 7-cup to get a 12-cup. Well, they still don’t have the 6-mm disc to fit the 12-cup. Most of extra accessories that they have just fit the 9-cup and 11-cup model. Ironically, they don’t produce the 11-cup model any more. Kitchen Aid should really consider customer needs – for a small family, a 7-cup food processor should at least have the options to reach same capacity of the bigger models, like a dough blade, 4-mm slicing disc, 6-mm slicing disc etc.

|Love / Hate relationship with this!!!,
I bought this processor because I have an 11 cup Cuisinart processor and I wanted something smaller. I couldn’t believe how quiet the motor was. My Cuisinart is terribly loud! I thought – well, it probably doesn’t do as good a job – but I was wrong. It works fantastic! The one problem I have with it is that when I was making a tomato sauce, the sauce went flying all over the kitchen!! For awhile I thought that I must have a defective one, but I’ve read other reviews regarding food processors that do the same thing. What’s the deal with that?
I couldn’t decide whether or not to return it and now it is too late. I’m still very happy with it ….. in the future, I’ll just use a blender for my sauces. Hope this review was helpful
