    First of all, what a great price! From what I’ve gathered, it’s pretty much the same processor as the $136 one minus the mini-bowl. I used the shredding tool the other nite to make hashbrowns, and it worked flawlessly. Today, I plan to make a green salsa with it. Such a nice kitchen gadget to have! Also, I find it the perfect size for my family of 3.

    In searching for a food processor I knew that kitchenAid would be a good product. This food processor is very heavy, indicating to me that this is large motor inside and should last a very long time. The bowl cleans easliy. Overall seems to be a good product, to do over I would not buy this product again.The reason is the housing around the inside shaft in the bowl that holds the cutting blades is only about 1 inch high. When processing tomatoes I could only chop about 4 medium tomatoes. In other food processors this housing can be 2 to 3 inches high inside and can handle more liquids without pouring out the bottom.The price is about 1/2 the price of other processors in the 9 cup range was the reason I bought it.
